You'll Never Go Home!

And here is the best of the best as far as Hawaiian Island music goes. What more can I say about Don Ho and this LP? It's just the greatest.

Welcome to Give It a Spin

Everything that I share here is presumed to be out of print and not available on CD. I am not a pirate, in fact I'm dead-set against music piracy. Don't get me wrong, I'm no friend to the major labels (read: organized crime syndicate), but, as little a percent of the retail sale as it might be, the musicians need to get paid. So, if I post anything here that may be otherwise available, please let me know and the link will be removed immediately.

There is no format here. I love all kinds of music, but here you'll get mostly Lounge, Exotica, Easy Listening, Space Age Pop, occasional Surf Music and perhaps some Classical or other surprises. You never know what will turn up. Original sources are vinyl, cassette or other audio formats where indicated.

All rips will be my own and I will try not to duplicate stuff that has been shared on other blogs. I don't visit them all, all of the time, so I'm not sure of everything that's been shared. If duplicate something that's been shared on another blog I apologize.

Okay, a few simple things and then on to the posts.

1) I plan on posting at a rate of once per week...probably on Saturdays or Sundays. I may throw in a bonus here or there...you never know.

2) Any sharing I do will be through RS only...don't ask for mirrors, I won't do them.

3) Feel free to leave comments, I'd love to hear from you. Don't bother heckling me or leaving stupid or threatening comments...I'll just ignore them anyway...so save your energy.

4) I don't take requests...I'm not Casey Kasem!
